IOCAG researchers on oceanographic campaign in Sub-Arctic region
From 5th August to 10th September 2019, 2 members of IOCAG's Marine Chemistry division, J. Magdalena Santana Casiano and Melchor González Dávila, together with technician Adrián Castro Álamo took part in an oceanographic campaign in the Sub-Arctic region with the aim of characterising local ocean acidification as well as obtaining a better understanding of the biochemical cycle of iron in the area. The campaign was undertaken as part of the AtopFe proyect, funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and also enlisted the collaboration of researchers from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
