Talks by Dr Riccardo Farneti 27th and 29th November

Next week, as part of the PhD seminar program, we will be very pleased to welcome guest speaker Dr Riccardo Farneti, a former ULPGC student at the Faculty of Marine Sciences and now attached to the Section of Earth System Physics at Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy. Dr Farneti will give two presentations:

This talk is entitled "MODELOS ACOPLADOS: Interacciones Océano-Atmósfera y el papel del océanoen la variabilidad natural y el cambio climático" (COUPLED MODELS: Ocean-Atmosphere interactions and the role of the ocean in natural variability and climate change) and will be given in Spanish.

Friday 29th November at 13:00 in Taliarte
Entitled "Simulated South Atlantic transports and their variability during 1958-2007: results, problems, challenges and future plans", this talk will be given in English.
