GEOGAR

The GEOGAR group aims to conduct studies (research, counseling and consulting services) related to the different branches of Geological Sciences (Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Sedimentology, External and Internal Geodynamics and Engineering Geology).

This group was founded in order to perform the following services:

• Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry of sediments and rocks of ocean intraplate volcanic islands. Economic Geology, Geo-heritage and Geo-archeology.
• Site characterization for building projects and civil works. Geological and geotechnical surveys. Landslide recognition and slope stability. Geological hazards.
• Coastal dynamics studies, including beach and dune sediment transport and evolution. Volcanic islands shelves characterization.
