Dionisio Rodríguez Esparragón
Dionisio Rodríguez Esparragón, earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria (ULPGC, B.S, Ph.D) and the University of Granada (M.S) in 1990, 2010, and 2016 respectively.
He is currently serving as a professor at ULPGC. His research endeavors are primarily conducted at the Institute of Oceanography and Global Change (IOCAG/ULPGC). His areas of interest encompass image processing, remote sensing, and data analysis.
These interests are reflected in his numerous high-quality publications and conference presentations. Rodríguez Esparragón has spearheaded significant projects in the field of remote sensing applications. His work, particularly in monitoring ecosystems and estimating atmospheric and oceanic parameters, has secured substantial funding for his innovative initiatives.
In addition to his research, he contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer and collaborator with globally recognized institutions.
He has a notable association with the Image Analysis Group at the Medical Data Analytics at the Center for Biomedical Research, University Politécnica de Madrid.
